WBS is proud to be Official Partner to Essex Cricket as part of a 3-year agreement. The partnership will see the WBS Logistics logo prominently displayed on the back of the Twenty20 playing shirt. The Club will also communicate its new partner, that shares the Club’s values of trust, a personal and down-to-earth approach, accessibility, and close collaboration for success, through all its official channels.

WBS Logistics’ young and dynamic team is serious about delivering excellence, with their strapline “Delivering your potential” reflecting their passion for growth and continued progression of all stakeholders through a client- and solution-focused approach.

Founded in 2003, WBS Logistics has expanded dramatically over the last two decades, providing quality international logistics services to and from Western, Central and Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, the USA, Asia, and beyond, through its own locations across the UK and a head office in Wickford, Essex.

In 2021, WBS acquired long standing partner WBS Nordic to further develop its business in Scandinavia, and today, WBS Logistics can be seen leading the way in agile, personalised logistics solutions that deliver sustainable growth.

WBS teams take a personal approach to collaborating with their clients, providing long established road, sea, and air freight solutions, and their in-house customs team ensures their customers’ imports and exports run as smoothly as possible whilst their Wickford facility offers bespoke fulfilment and warehousing services.

David Burnham, Managing Director of WBS Logistics, said: “As an Essex-based business with international expertise, WBS Logistics are delighted to sign a three-year partnership deal with Essex Cricket. Essex Cricket has seen significant development and changes over recent years and isn’t afraid to challenge itself and others to pioneer and fight for more equal, accessible, and empowered environments, as seen with their most recent achievement in establishing a tier one professional women’s team from the 2025 season. We are proud to have found such a like-minded partner and look forward to further success both on and off the field.

Daryl Townson, Commercial Manager at Essex Cricket, added: “It’s wonderful to welcome WBS Logistics on board as an Official Partner of Essex Cricket.

It’s always an exciting time for the Club when we add a new partnership, and we can now celebrate the beginning of a new and hopefully successful association with another flourishing Essex business.
