Romanian Toll Road Changes

We would like to make you aware of an important change taking effect today, 1 October, which will affect transport costs for shipments to, from, and transiting through Romania.

Romania is introducing changes to its road toll system for heavy goods vehicles over 3.5 tonnes. While these changes apply to Romanian routes, the impact will extend to a number of international shipments as well.

A significant proportion of shipments to and from Bulgaria, Greece, and Türkiye transit through Romania. As a result, these routes will also be affected by the changes in road toll costs from today onwards.
